Alamance County, NC - Sheriff's deputies are investigation a homicide near the corner of Glen Raven Road and Durham Street Extension. Public Information Officer Randy Jones says deputies heard the shots themselves at about 5:19 pm.

Deputies had one person in custody shortly after the incident was unfolding, however it is not sure if the person is the shooter, or a whitness.

UPDATE

Investigators say Eugene Lee bought a camper from Jerry Hill and the two were involved in an ongoing dispute over it. On Wednesday, Lee went to Hill's home and the two became involved in a confrontation. Hill is being charged with first degree murder.
