NC- Alamance County - Pleasant Grove Fire Department (Station 12) responded to a structure fire at the Pleasant Grove Community Center. The community center is located at 3958 Hwy 49 North. A Firefighter was leaving the department, when he was going past the community center he heard what sounded like a fire alarm coming from the building. He went to investigate and noticed smoke coming from the building. He went back to the department and told another firefighter who was getting ready to go home after a meeting. The firefighters arrived on scene quickly and managed to contain the fire.

Mutual-Aid was quickly requested. Station 4, and Station 13 were dispatched to the scene to assist. FM 2 responded to the scene with the air truck. 

Mebane Fire Department was dispatched to Station 12 to assist with cover-in. Swepsonville Fire Department was dispatched to cover-in for Station 4.
