Burlington, NC - On 06-05-2008 at approximately 2230 hrs. Officers from the Burlington Police Department responded to 639 Bentley Dr. Burlington, in reference to a missing person. Upon arrival, it was discovered that James Edward Fardy was missing from his home, and had not been seen since 0700 hrs/06-05-2008. James Edward Fardy was described as a W/M, 62 years old, 5’4” approx. 145 lbs., graying brown shoulder length hair, gray full beard, wearing wire rim glasses. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, and a green and brown camouflaged ball cap. It is believed that Fardy left his residence on foot. There was no sign of any foul play at the residence. Fardy has a heart condition, and requires daily doses of his medication, which was left behind at his residence. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of James Edward Fardy please contact the Burlington Police Department at 336-229-3500. Investigation is continuing.
