| Two Arrested for Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicles |

Burlington, NC - On May 21, 2008 the Burlington Police investigated a series of Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle cases in the area of Meadowood Drive and Brycewood Place. At approximately 0626 hours a resident discovered two white males attempting to break into a vehicle at their residence. The concerned citizen chased the subjects on foot and alerted the Burlington Police Department. Moments later Cameron Ruffo Clayson, W/M, D.O.B. 3-14-1989 of 211 Brighten Drive Elon, NC was located in the area on foot by officers and was found to be in possession of stolen property. The second suspect was later located at his residence and was identified as Zachary Dillion Webster, W/M, D.O.B. 10-24-1990 of 20 Brownbark Court Gibsonville, NC. Additional stolen property was located and recovered at this residence. Burlington Police Investigators contacted other local agencies (Gibsonville Police Department/Alamance County Sheriff’s Office) concerning (1) B&E Motor Vehicle case in Gibsonville and (2) B&E Motor Vehicle cases in the County. The following is a list of offenses charged by the Burlington Police Department. Cameron Ruffo Clayson: 3 Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering 4 Counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle 3 Counts of Larceny
Zachary Dillion Webster: 3 Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering 4 Counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle 3 Counts of Larceny
Clayson and Webster were placed in the Alamance County Jail in lieu of a $25,00 |
