ImageBurlington, NC -  Carter Bank & Trust on North Church Street robbed, The suspect left the bank running north on Church Street, he was last seen running through the parking lot of Samaritan Thrift Store.

Incident:  Common Law Robbery

Description:

On Monday, February 25, 2008 at 1539 hrs an unknown W/M robbed Carter Bank and Trust of an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was described as a W/M, mid 20-mid 30’s, approximately 5’8”, 175 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, blue jacket, and a blue baseball style hat.  No weapon was displayed during the robbery.  The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot, traveling east on N. Church St toward Graham-Hopedale Rd.

A K-9 track was attempted but was unsuccessful.

There were no injuries.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers, at 229-7100 or the Burlington Police Department, at 229-3500.
