Alamance County, NC - Eli Whitney Fire Department, & EM Holt Fire Department were on scene of a bin fire located at 4408 Mt Hermon Rock Creek Road "New South Lumber Mill" just after 12:00 Wednesday Morning. First units on scene report flames coming from a hopper about 30-40 foot off the ground and was forcing smoke in the planner room of the buliding. The fire was contained to the top hopper. Incident Command requested assistance from Graham Fire Department to bring their platform truck so they could reach the source of the fire. Units on scene Chief 9, Engine 92, Deputy Chief 9, Assistant Chief 5, Chief 5, Engine 113, Tanker 111, Engine 52, Engine 50, FM2, FM3 & Graham Tower 1. If I left anyone out please email me. Graham Fire Department cleared the scene at 04:02 All other units cleared the incident at 04:15 There were no injuries reported. Incident Audio Listen Now!
