Burlington Police Chase Drunk Driver |

Burlington, NC - Police initiated a traffic stop on a Silver Chrysler 300. Officer describes the driver of the vehicle appeared to have reached for his waist band, and sped off. The officer did a nice job calling out road conditions to his supervisor. Supervisor informed the officer to continue. Deputies from Alamance County Sheriffs Department assisted with deployment of stop sticks on highway 62 at the intersection of Kirkpatrick Road. The driver missed the sticks and continued north on Highway 62. The driver was finally stopped on Highway 62 at the Burlington_Alamance Airport.
