Burlington, NC - On August 11, 2007 at 0103 hours, officers of the Burlington Police Department responded to the Burger King located at 406 Huffman Mill Road

Burlington in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a robbery had just occurred and the suspect had left the area just prior to officers arriving. As two of the employees were exiting the business, a black male displayed a semi-automatic handgun then demanded the employees back into the business. The suspect forced the employees to open the safe and hand over the money within it. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, he then made the employees lie on the floor, face down as he exited the building.

The suspect left in an unknown direction of travel.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’6”, medium build, mid to late 40’s, wearing a black shirt and a camouflage bandana across his face and dark sunglasses.
