Burlington, NC -  Police are investigating an armed robbery that occured at Lane Bryant Department Store in the Target Shopping Center Plaza. The suspect was described as a black male with a go-tee, who was wearing a do-rag, baggy white shirt, blue jean shorts. The suspect also had a tatoo on his neck and a tatoo on his arm. On June 4, 2007 at 2100 hours officers responded to a reported armed robbery of the Lane Bryant store located 1469-A University Drive. The two female employees of the business stated a black male entered the business at approximately 2050 hours, produced a small dark colored semi-automatic and demanded money. After receiving an undetermined amount of money the suspect forced the two employees into a restroom of the business and left the business in an unknown direction of travel.

        Officers from the Elon Police Department and a K-9 from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Burlington Police Department in the investigation.

        The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6" to 5'8" tall, 130 pounds, slim build and slim face, tattoo on the left side of the neck and the right forearm, last seen wearing a large white shirt, blue shorts, black tennis shoes and a dark blue skull cap.
