Burlington, NC - Firefighters responded to grass fire on a trail that runs from local stores to an apartment Complex.

 

Graham, NC – Firefighters responded to a grass fire that was started by kids playing with matches. Approximately ½ acre was burnt.

 

Graham, NC – Firefighters responded to a dumpster fire. Units arrived on scene to find a fully engulfed dumpster.  

 

Alamance County, NC – Station 7 firefighters responded to Hickory Nut Point for a reported structure fire. First units in route report smoke showing 1 mile out. Units arrived on scene to find a 2 story structure on fire.

 

Elon, NC – Station 8 responded to Elon University with a report of a grass fire.

49 South Structure Fire Print

Snow Camp, NC

A report of a structure fire was called in to Alamance County 911 Center early Friday Morning. The caller stated that a man knocked on his door asking him to call 911 because the house next door was on fire. The structure fire was located near 5232 Highway 49 South. Station 9 (E.M. Holt), Station 6 (Snow Camp), Alamance County EMS unit 114, and Medic 1 arrived to find fire shooting out of the roof.

Alamance County Sheriffs Deputies blocked Highway 49 in both direction to prevent traffic from interfering with fire operations.

Graham Apartment Fire 4/18/2007 Print

Graham, NC – An apartment fire at 115 Florence Street around 1:40 am Wednesday Morning.  Police and Fire report light smoke showing from the second story as they arrived on scene. Firefighters knocked the fire down quickly, and then made entry into the attic to extinguish the fire extensions. Exhaust fans were set up to rid the apartment building of smoke.

2 Car Accident South Church Street Print

Burlington, NCA 2 car traffic accident occurred at the intersection of South Church Street and Delaney Drive early Wednesday Morning. The impact sent one of the vehicles into a Duke Power pole, snapping it in two, and sending the transformer crashing onto the wreckage.

The Burlington Police Department went to Alamance Regional Medical Center to further investigate the incident.

 Alcohol is beleived to have played a part in this accident.
