Burlington, NC - An armed robbery occured Friday afternoon at a bank on Alamance Road. Suspect is described as a black male 160-200 lbs, 5'6"-5'8", black facial hair, waering a multi-colored golf shirt, and khaki pants.

UPDATE

On 9-7-07 at 3:28 pm, the State Employees Credit Union located at 2623 Alamance Road Burlington, NC was the victim of a robbery by an unknown black male. The black male was described as have med skin color, bald-headed, approx 5’7” to 5’8” 160-200lbs with a goatee wearing a plain white T-Shirt and blue jeans. Witnesses said the suspect was also wearing a gold colored necklace.

The suspect showed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect left the business in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money. There were no injuries. Suspect did not display a weapon.

Alamance County, NC -  This week Alamance County has been testing out the State of North Carolinas Viper Radio System throughout the County.

There is a Viper tower located on Cane Mountain in Southern Alamance County. 

The test seem to be going pretty good.

The Gibsonville Fire Department Responded To A House Fire At 514 Apple St This Morning. The Whitsett Fire Department As Well As Guilford County Squad 50 Were On Scene To Assist. There Were No Reported Injuried. Units Cleared The Scene Just After 1:00 P.M. Car 2150 From The Guilford County Fire Marshall's Office Was Called To The Scene To Investigate.

Units On Scene: Chief 6 - Deputy Chief 6 - Engine 6 - Engine 206 - Engine - 306 - Assistant Chief 31 - Engine 31 - Tanker 31 - Quint 31 - Squad 50 - Car 2150
