Graham, NC - A house fire on Ward Street kept Graham Firefighters busy for several hours as they battled this blaze that is believed to have started in a rear structure on the property. The fire then spread to the house on the front of the property where at least one car was also burnt.

Neighbors of the Ward Street home told Alamance Live Scanner that a resident noticed the house was on fire and acted to insure that no one was inside. Two gentlemen broke in the front door as others called 911. It was a case of neighbors helping neighbors. "We are all praying for her as she will have a rough time after this devastating fire." says a neighbor who lives across the street a few doors down.
