Skids on North Church Robbed Print

Burlington, NC - Skids Restaurant on North Church Street was robbed by a white male.

The suspect left the scene in a vehicle. and was followed by somone from Skids. Burlington Police spotted the car and initiated a traffic stop. Suspect vehicle refused to stop. running several stop lights, and stop signs. Speeds reached 50 - 60 mph.

The car used in this robbery was also fitting the description of another robbery that took place in the area.

Burlington, NC - An automatic fire alarm sent firefighters to the scene of Golden Corral Restaurant on Huffman Mill Road  Soon after receiving the alarm call neighboring restaurants called with reports of smoke coming from Golden Corral. Alamance County, NC - Swepsonville Station 1 responded to a report of a structure fire just off of Highway 54 East. First units on scene report heavy flames coming out of the roof.

Eli Whitney provided mutual aid, Alamance County EMS provided stand by.
